To insure the safe arrival and departure of children, we have established the following guidelines:

Children should not arrive at school before 8:50 a.m. (except for special classes or programs). Supervision is provided on the playground beginning at 8:50 a.m. The first bell rings at 9:01 a.m. at which time students are to line up with their class. The school cannot be responsible for children arriving before 8:50 a.m.

Students are dismissed at 3:43 p.m. “Walking” students are to go directly home. Supervision is provided for students who take a bus home. In the event of a sudden storm at dismissal time, children may be temporarily detained.

It is a good idea to have your child check in with you and then get permission to visit friends. This will help in not having as many “missing children” at friends’ homes.
