 Sneak-a-Peek/Ice Cream Social

Please join us on Monday, August 17 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. for an ice cream social and chance to meet your teachers. Your child may also bring his or her supplies to school. The teachers will have you fill out all necessary paperwork for students such as emergency cards, etc. This is an excellent chance to catch up with old friends and a chance to meet some new ones.

 Highland Welcomes New Staff Members

We are pleased and honored to be adding two teachers to our staff for the 2009-2010 school year. Marlene Drake will be teaching one of our 5th grade classes and Patti Olin will be our teacher for the 1/2 split class. Please take a moment to read letters from each of them. They will make a great addition to our Highland family.

 Western Welcome Week Parade

Please join us as we march with other Littleton Public Schools during the Western Welcome Week Parade. We will meet at the Education Services Center, 5776 S. Crocker St., at 9:30 a.m. and will walk to the parade site. Please be sure to bring plenty of water and sun screen.

 Highland is Going Green

Highland is going paperless. By doing this, we will be able to save a substantial amount in printing costs and reduce paper waste. Starting in the 2009-2010 school year, we will be putting upcoming events, flyers and newsletters on our website and new eFolder site. In August, students will receive a form for parents to fill out with their email address. Every Wednesday, an email reminder will go out with a link to our eFolder wiki page. There will be a paper option for families without internet access. School work and forms that need to be returned to school will still come home via the traditional Wednesday Folder. Thank you for your support to help Highland cut costs and help the environment.
