Greetings!

This is my 10th year teaching at Highland Elementary as the Gifted and Talented Facilitator. This year I am also involved in helping support literacy for first grade. My teaching career began helping many wonderful teachers and students in my own children’s classrooms. I love to teach and be involved with the educational experience of students. I value education and know it opens doors to many opportunities in life. My past times are reading books, and taking walks along the canal. My new hobby has been starting a vegetable garden. I am a Colorado native and have three children who attended Highland, Euclid and Littleton High School. I am a graduate of George Washington High School in Denver, The Colorado College- Bachelor of Arts Degree, and The University of Denver- Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a content area focus in gifted education.
