Mrs. Lynn Chambless
A life-long goal for me has been to teach and make a difference in children’s lives. I pursued my teaching degree and graduated from the University of North Texas in Elementary Education. A few months later my husband David and I moved to Charlotte, North Caroling where I taught sixth grade and enjoyed the students and staff. Our first child was born in North Carolina and I was able to stay at home with him. In 1992, after our third and youngest child was in school, I resumed my teaching career.

When I am not working, I love singing, reading and taking walks with David and our pound puppy, Duke. I also love going out to dinner with family, or I will cook if I can talk our adult children and their families into coming over for free food and good conversation. I am blessed to be a part of the Highland community and to have the privilege of working with such a talented and caring staff.
