 Destination Imagination

Destination Imagination is an international organization for Kindergarteners through University students that teaches life skill and expands imaginations through team-based creative problem solving.

This is a wonderful program that builds children’s imaginations, social skills and problem solving skills, and confidence. Children enjoy the unique challenges and fun activities that DI offers.

Teams form in late fall meeting on a regular basis until the local competition in early spring. Please contact Janis Hansen for more information at

 Congratulations Highland DI Teams!

This year Highland sent three teams to the South Metro Regional DI Competition. We would like to honor them for all the hard work they did.

This year our Rising Stars team was honored with the Da Vinci Award for their unique story about traveling back in time to stop the invention of cigarettes and cigars.

Our Obstacle Of Course team won third place and is going on the compete at the state level on April 26, 2008.

Our Switch team won four place and will be cheering on their fellow students at the state competition.
