Please obey all stop signs, check carefully at crosswalks, and follow all directions listed below. Our parking lot speed limit is 5 MPH. Continued speed of sign violations may result in a ticket from an LPS school resource officer or LPD. THIS IS ALL FOR STUDENT, STAFF, AND FAMILY SAFETY.

ZONE A

ARRIVAL

1. Zone A is for walkers and bus riders ONLY. This area is closed to all cars until 7:50 *except for handicap access.
2. If you want to park and walk your child up to the front doors, please utilize the highlighted areas on Julian and Berry. The parking area in Bowles Grove Park is also a way to park and walk up to the building in Zone B.
3. No parking is permitted in “crossed out” areas, NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Walkers should utilize the designated crosswalks. Please do not walk through the parking lot.
5. Cars heading westbound on Berry MAY TURN LEFT ON RED ahead of the crosswalk to enter the parking lot.
6. Please take note of and obey the new stop sign lines and left turn/right turn lanes at the exit.

DISMISSAL

1. Zone A is still for walkers and buses ONLY. Utilize off-site parking. Parking is not permitted in “crossed out” areas. If you are arriving by car, please utilize the “curbside” access in Zone B.

ZONE B

ARRIVAL

1. Zone B is our “curbside” drop-off and pick up. Please access this if you arrive by car and do not plan to park off-site. Students should be able to independently get in and out of your vehicle.
2. Pull all the way to the end of the basketball courts/please do not let your student out of the car before you reach the “straight-away” of the curbside area.
3. This area closes at 7:50. If the gate is closed, please exit the parking lot onto Berry and re-enter the parking lot to drop off in Zone A and your child may enter the front doors. Please park and bring your child into the office for tardy sign-in.

DISMISSAL

1. Zone B is our “curbside” drop-off and pick up. Please access this if you arrive by car and do not plan to park off-site. Students should be able to independently get in and out of your vehicle.
2. Pull all the way to the end of the basketball courts/please do not let your student out of the car before you reach the “straight-away” of the curbside area.
3. Please remind your student to be “waiting and watching” for your car.

K WALKER DISMISSAL

DISMISSAL ONLY

1. All kindergarten students dismiss 5 minutes early, at 3:00.
2. We highly recommend parking off-site and walking to the back of the building to pick up your kindergartener! You will then have time to wait along our west fence in Zone A for any older siblings to dismiss as walkers.

TIPS

1. Determine a dismissal “meeting place” with your child if you are a walker. Some families enter the grounds from Bowles Grove or the neighborhood to the south. Assign a meeting spot on the playground.
2. Some families have their older students walk to Berry Park and wait to be picked up there.
3. For ANY “meeting place” you determine, tell your child that if they don’t see you by 3:15 to return to the front office. This way we can contact you!
4. Plans change. If you are running late, you may email your child’s teacher, but it’s also best to call the office to ensure the message gets delivered. Teachers aren’t checking their email during instructional time.
5. If Centennial staff don’t know/are unsure of how your child is supposed to get home, we default to keeping them in the office to call you. Your child is safe here at school!

2. Llegue hasta el final de las canchas de baloncesto/por favor no deje que su estudiante baje del automóvil antes de llegar "en línea recta" al área de la acera.
3. Esta área cierra a las 7:50. Si la puerta está cerrada, salga del estacionamiento hacia Berry y vuelva a ingresar al estacionamiento para dejarlo en la Zona A y su estudiante podrá entrar por las puertas principales. Por favor estacione y traiga a su hijo a la oficina para registrarse tarde.

SALIDA

1. La Zona B es nuestra zona para dejar y recoger a los estudiantes “en la acera”. Acceda a este si llega en automóvil y no planea estacionar fuera del sitio. Los estudiantes deben poder entrar y salir de su vehículo de forma independiente.
2. Llegue hasta el final de las canchas de baloncesto/por favor no deje que su estudiante baje del automóvil antes de llegar "en línea recta" al área de la acera.

SALIDA DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE KINDERGARTEN QUE CAMINAN 

SOLO SALIDA

1. Todos los estudiantes de kindergarten salen 5 minutos antes, a las 3:00.
