The heart of our fine arts program is based on the four disciplines of the fine arts: Visual Arts, Dance, Theater and Music. We call these the core fine arts classes. We hire top professionals who are artists, dancers, actors and musicians to teach these classes, including our own art and music teachers. These classes are more intensive and focused, and some require outside preparation, like practicing an instrument or learning lines.                              

We encourage all Centennial students to take at least one core fine arts class each semester to ensure that each student is being challenged and motivated in the arts.

All core fine arts classes, except Visual Arts, are performance classes. That means that if your child is enrolled in a performance class, s/he is expected to attend any performances that class has. We notify our families in advance of dates that specific classes are performing.
